Dan Scanlon
Operations Manager
Dan Scanlon is the founder and Operations Manager of Herk Global. Dan began his career in the aviation industry as an Airline Captain for American Airlines, where he accumulated over 20,000 flight hours. Following his time with American Airlines, Dan turned to the aviation maintenance industry and has held various management roles over the previous 38 years, including overseeing Herk Global operations. During his time in the industry, Dan has obtained his Mechanics Inspection Authorization License and Flight Engineer License, among many others. Dan graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from Northrop University.

Experienced Aviation Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the airlines/aviation industry. Skilled in Line Maintenance, Heavy Maintenance, Aircraft Systems, Airworthiness, ERP System Implementation and Continuous Improvement Process Development and Implementation. Strong operations professional graduated from Simon Fraser University.
